POLICY FOR MOBILE USE

We are formulating code of conduct for use of mobile phones inside the organization. Following is the broad guidelines we intend to announce. You can suggest your views & opinion for further considerations.

1. MOBILES SHOULD BE KEPT ON VIBRATION / SILENT MODE DURING WORKING HOURS.
2. EMPLOYEES ARE REQUESTED TO AVOID USING THE MOBILE IN RECEPTION AREA, OFFICE ENTRANCE.
3. SHOULD BE SWITCHED OFF DURING MEETING / TRAINING.
4. IN THE CEO / DIRECTOR’S CABIN IT SHOULD BE KEPT SILENT.
5. TALK IN MODERATE VOICE IN OPEN OFFICE ENVIRONMENT AS EVERYONE IS WATCHING AT US.
6. TALK TO OTHERS IN SHORT AND TO THE POINT, WORK RELATED ONLY.
7. DO NOT USE MOBILE AROUND ANY DIGITAL / ELECTROMAGNETIC EQUIPMENT.
8. USE INTERCOM FOR PREMISES RELATED CALLS.
9. USE FORUM, LOCAL CHAT OR EMAIL FOR OFFICIAL CORRESPONDENCE.
10. USE OF CAMERA PHONE IN THE OFFICE PREMISES IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED.
11. PDA OR HAND HELD DEVICES ARE ALLOWED IN MEETING (SILENT MODE ONLY), AS IT WILL BE THE PRODUCTIVITY TOOL.
12. TAKING PHOTOGRAPHS OR VIDEO USING MOBILE OR ANY OTHER DEVICE IS NOT ALLOWED IN WORK PREMISES.
13. NO MOBILE SHOULD BE USED WHILE DRIVING UNLESS EQUIPPED WITH HANDS FREE ACCESSORIES.

The management will take strict action if any employee is found not following the guidelines. If any person not following the suite will get

i) A verbal warning for the first time.
ii) A written memo will be issued second time.
iii) A suspension will be issued for the third offense.
iv) Fourth time will end in termination.
